Stout Energy Inspires the Next Generation of Sustainability Leaders at SCHOOLS IN UAE
At Stout Energy, we believe that real change begins with awareness — and the best place to plant the seeds of sustainability is with the youth who will shape tomorrow.
In a recent outreach event, our Head of Sustainability, Sarath Karottu, held a talk at Indian School Al Ain to engage with Grade 12 students on the critical importance of sustainability and the opportunities that lie ahead in green careers. The session, held as part of the school’s career awareness program, aimed to inspire students to consider their role in tackling climate change and building a sustainable future.
Students were introduced to the concept of reducing carbon emissions in the built environment and how Stout Energy is helping transform the UAE’s HVAC and building sector with energy-efficient technologies and solutions such as Cooling-as-a-Service.
“It was heartening to see how aware and curious today’s students are,” said Sarath. “At Stout Energy, we don’t just build sustainable systems — we’re building a culture of sustainability. These young minds are our future engineers, scientists, policymakers, and business leaders. Engaging with them is both a responsibility and a privilege.”
This initiative is part of Stout Energy’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and environmental education, and aligns with our broader mission to accelerate the UAE’s transition to a low-carbon economy.
We look forward to more such collaborations with schools and universities across the region as we continue to champion climate awareness and sustainable development.
